Research Statement
Curriculum Vita
At the core my program of research focuses with the way in which leaders can impact job performance through supporting employees work and non-work identities. This is manifest in three key areas of research; leadership, identity processes, and job performance. While there are some distinctions between each of these areas, my overall research agenda seeks to integrate these three concepts to help organizations support and retain employees while improving job performance.

Job Performance

Job performance is a central outcome for organizations. In this stream of research I  evaluate the role and strength of various predictors which leads to targeted workplace interventions aimed at improving job performance.

Leadership

Leaders at work have the ability to influence our lives both on and off the job. In this stream of research I explore the way in which leaders can  promote performance at work through offering supportive behaviors on the job.

IDentity

We occupy many different roles throughout our lifetime - parent, coworker, friend, etc. In this stream of research I explore the relationships among these roles and the impact it has has the ability to enrich and deplete psychological resources.
